What uses an allowance?
Read and search available captions directly. Transcription and speaker detection have separate minute allowances; summaries and translations use AI tasks. Explicitly select purchased credits or a single pass, then review the estimated free and purchased use before confirming. Provider processing already performed may count toward usage, so cancellation cannot always undo a submitted part of a task.

Speaker detection applies to platform videos and to transcribed local uploads whose original is still within its retention window (around six hours after upload); after that, upload the same file again. Uploaded audio files remain limited to 60 MiB; AAC m4a files and tracks extracted from a video follow the duration limit instead (average bitrate up to 320 kbps). Asset duration also depends on the chosen entitlement and remaining allowance.
